Pa Oghoroko was not a criminal. He was not a militant. He was an 80-year-old community president who spent his life serving his people. When the Nigerian Army came in August 2024, they took him too. He was never charged with any offence.
He died in military detention. Without ever seeing a courtroom. Without ever being allowed to say goodbye to his family. His remains have not been returned to Okuama for burial.
We demand the return of his remains. We demand justice for his death. We demand full accountability.
